Laterals

Day Ketterer Ltd. is interviewing lateral attorneys with successful legal practices ($250K plus per year).

Since its founding in 1872, Day Ketterer has evolved into a highly respected team of progressive attorneys who each contribute in their own way to building a dynamic firm. We wish to explore opportunities with quality attorneys who would like to practice in our Canton or Hudson offices.  

Both our Canton and Hudson law offices offer an ideal base from which to expand your practice throughout Northeast Ohio, supported by stable and forward looking management.  Day Ketterer attorneys work as a team in a hard charging practice, but don't care much about bureaucracy, multi-page compensation systems, or filling out a form to get a legal pad. 

We are interested in like-minded attorneys who have developed a successful practice ($250K plus per year) and who are excited about exercising a real sense of ownership in their firm.

Associates

Day Ketterer Ltd. is seeking a motivated, self-starting associate attorney with a minimum of three years of experience in general business, mergers and acquisitions, and contract work. The ideal candidate will also have a strong academic background (top 25%) preferred and will be able to work independently. The associate attorney will work at the firm's Canton and Hudson offices. Summer Program for Law Students

Day Ketterer's summer program is designed as both an educational experience and as a recruitment tool. Associates who spend a summer with us will have the chance to experience life in a law firm. They will do research, interview and interact with clients, attend depositions, pre-trials and trials and gain valuable real world experience. The summer program also gives associates the opportunity to experience many different areas of practice, giving them insight into which areas they may wish to pursue as a specialty.

The program also gives Day Ketterer the chance to observe the associate's work. As a result, we often give summer associates first consideration when the time comes to make a permanent hiring decision.
