Sandra Dennison

Sandra Dennison is an accomplished professional artist, who works in many types of media. Her paintings range from realism to bold colorful abstracts. She is in private and permanent collections throughout the United States. She is basically self-taught with a little fine-tuning along the way. She focuses greatly on the play of color from light and dark. Sandra has been featured in such magazines and Artist Magazine, her articles are called "Fanning the Flame" and "No one under 21 admitted". She also has an article in Akron Art and Leisure called "True to Life".

Sandra is an instructor at Brecksville Center for the Arts. She is also a member of Brecksville Center for the Arts and the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center, Hudson Society of Artists, a lifetime member of the Whiskey Painters of America and The Ohio Plein Air Painters. She is also a member of the Crooked River Gang, who displays their paintings at the M. D. Garage in Peninsula Ohio and the National Park Service sponsors this group. Sandra has won many accolades and awards for her work as a fine artist from Colorado to New York. In the past few years she has developed a zest for abstraction. Allowing the flow of color and design to lead her mind and soul into the life of the painting has led to an exciting new challenge into her world of painting.
