Day Ketterer congratulates Curt Werren on his recent appointment as CEO of the American Red Cross - Stark Region. It is no secret that DK has been recognized throughout its 138-year history for developing attorneys committed to both professional excellence and community stewardship.  It is an honor when one of our attorneys is tapped for public service and we wish Curt much success in providing outstanding leadership to advance the goals of our community Red Cross.  Curt began his new responsibilities March 1, 2010 and he will continue his relationship with Day Ketterer in an Of Counsel position.  

With 18 years of experience, Curt regularly advises clients on family law matters, legislative and regulatory matters. Curt is trusted by his clients to handle the sensitive and private matters associated with Family Law legal issues such as:

A family man, Curt shows consideration and compassion for families in turmoil and provides responsive solutions to help his clients advocate for amenable solutions to complex problems.  

In addition, through his experience with the Canton City Planning Commission, he has extensive knowledge in handling real property issues affected by non-conforming use, nuisance abatement, ordinances, land-use planning, zoning and enforcement.

He also provides advice to local government officials and non-profit board of directors on:

His trial work includes both civil and criminal matters. He is a member of the American, Ohio and Stark County Bar Associations.

Active in the community, Curt is a graduate of the 13th Class of Leadership Stark County and serves on the Asset Building Day Committee. He was recently appointed to the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Stark County Board of Directors.
