John A. Murphy, Jr.
John is the chairman of the firm's litigation practice group and his practice focuses primarily on litigation. He has over 100 successful jury verdicts and is often called upon by the firm and its clients to try difficult cases. Some of his cases have become leaders in their respective areas, including Insurance Bad Faith, Lender Liability, Trust Officer Standard of Care and Civil Procedure. In addition to John's successful verdict record and multiple Supreme Court appearances, he has countless reported decisions from the Courts of Appeal.
In addition to his career as a litigator, John is a frequent lecturer on topics such as: forensic accounting, product liability claims, real estate and E & O claims, and at the National Business Institute where he teaches young attorneys how to try lawsuits. He also has written numerous articles for the construction industry.
John is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Ohio.
