John S. Kaminski
"My focus is on helping individuals prepare for their future through aggressive and thoughtful estate planning. The more planning you do now, the higher quality of life you and your loved ones will enjoy."
John's practice focuses primarily on counseling young professionals, families, and retirees on the importance of developing estate plans and trusts to reach their financial goals, transfer assets to future generations, and provide for the care of children. Conscientious about the fact that most young adults postpone dealing with these sensitive legal issues for a variety of issues, John makes it easy to understand the benefits of having a plan rather than none at all. He focuses on the individual needs of each of his clients, listening to ensure that he integrates the necessary legal documents to help them implement their life plan through:
- Wills
- Living Trusts
- Charitable Trusts
- Special Needs Trusts
- Retirement Plan Trusts for IRA and 401(k) accounts
- Wealth preservation strategies
- Tax planning
- Estate Plans for Parents of Handicapped Children
- Estate Planning for Unmarried Couples
- Advanced Medical Directives, Living Wills
- Powers of Attorney (General & Health Care)
He also counsels his clients to make informed choices about living wills and health care powers of attorney, and when applicable, guardianship. To further answer questions about these topics and other estate planning scenarios, John regularly posts to his blog, Preparing For Your Life.
