John's practice focuses primarily on counseling young professionals, families, and retirees on the importance of developing estate plans and trusts to reach their financial goals, transfer assets to future generations, and provide for the care of children. Conscientious about the fact that most young adults postpone dealing with these sensitive legal issues for a variety of issues, John makes it easy to understand the benefits of having a plan rather than none at all. He has successfully represented the largest daily newspaper in Stark County to assert their right to cover pretrial hearings and to protect reporters' sources from being released during testimony in the highly publicized criminal trial, State v. Bobby Cutts Jr., in Canton, Ohio.
John is among the top 2.5% of attorneys named as Rising Stars by Ohio Super Lawyers in 2010. A member of the Ohio State Bar Association and a member of the Stark County Bar Association, John serves on the disputed fee committee. John splits his time between the Firm's Canton and Hudson offices. Active on several non-profit boards and committees of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, he resides in Canton with his wife Jill.
