Kristen S. Moore
Kristen is a 2008 cum laude graduate of the University of Akron School of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science in English from Malone University, where she graduated summa cum laude as their 2004 Outstanding English Graduate. Prior to joining Day Ketterer, Kristen worked as a law clerk at Scanlon & Gearinger Co., L.P.A., where she gained a valuable perspective on the plaintiff's side of personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance coverage cases. In developing her practice at Day Ketterer, Kristen plans to focus on civil litigation.
While in law school, Kristen was a member of the University of Akron's prestigious nationally ranked trial team. She competed in teams at the Buffalo-Niagara Invitational Tournament, the National Trial Competition, and placed second in the nation at the 2007 National Institute of Trial Advocacy's Tournament of Champions. Kristen sharpened her advocacy skills in the classroom as well, earning a Litigation Certificate by focusing on advanced trial classes such as medical malpractice, expert evidence, and complex litigation.
Locally, Kristen serves as co-director of Kingdom House Ministries, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the mentorship of high-school and college-aged youth. She recently accepted a position to serve on the Board of Directors for Second Chance Ministries. She is a Legal Advisor for the McKinley High School Mock Trial Team, and is a member of the Ohio and Stark County Bar Associations, and the Ohio Association for Civil Trial Attorneys.
