Peter G. Tsarnas

Peter is a Member and focuses his practice on bankruptcy and commercial law. He represents clients in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, and represents clients and trustees in bankruptcy adversary proceedings. While primarily focused on bankruptcy law, Peter also serves clients in the areas of litigation, collections, business law, and landlord-tenant relations.

Peter has spoken at numerous continuing education seminars for the Akron Bar Association and at the White-Williams Bankruptcy Institute in addition to being a guest lecturer teaching Bankruptcy at the University of Akron School of Law.

Peter currently is the Vice-Chair of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Akron Bar Association and also was appointed in 2018 to serve on the Membership Committee of the Akron Bar Association. Peter previously served on the Attorney Constituent Group for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Ohio. Among his accomplishments, he was voted an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star by his peers which is reserved for attorneys under the age of forty or who have been practicing for ten years or less and was bestowed upon only 2.5% of Ohio attorneys.

In addition to his professional involvement in Summit County, Peter also devotes his time to coaching youth soccer and is presently on the Executive Board of the Green Soccer Association, a non-profit community-based soccer association where he presently serves as the Director of Girls Travel.
