Rick has 17 years of experience working with individuals to help them with complex financial planning and effective legal strategies to transfer family assets, minimize tax implications and plan for the care of loved ones with special needs. Rick is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and has written and published several articles, including “Limited Liability Companies.”
Rick is a member of the Ohio State and Stark Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice in Ohio courts and the District of Columbia; the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio; and the U.S. Tax Court.
He joined Day Ketterer in 1999 having previously practiced law in the firm of Ross, Kendig & Arnold, Ltd. Prior to his legal career, Rick worked as a CPA with a Big Six Accounting Firm.
