Stuart L. Larsen
Stuart L. Larsen is chairman of the Firm's Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Practice Group. For over 17 years he has helped financial institutions, business owners, commercial landlords, unsecured creditors' committees and asset purchasers in Chapter 11 reorganization cases aggressively protect their rights. In addition to helping corporate clients minimize credit risks, Larsen also has extensive experience in handling commercial bankruptcy proceedings and complex commercial litigation matters in state, federal and appellate courts. He joins Day Ketterer from the Cleveland law firm of Kahn Kleinman where he served as head of its Bankruptcy Practice Group.
A member of the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Bar Association's Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section, Larsen is also affiliated with the National Association of Credit Management and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He has lectured and written extensively on bankruptcy and commercial law topics especially as it relates to the steel, automotive, retail and real estate industries. Larsen is editor of the Cleveland Bar Association Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section's e-newsletter, the Northcoast e-Pipeline, and is a contributing editor to West Publishing's Norton Bankruptcy Law and Practice on the topics of Appellate Practice and Involuntary Bankruptcy.
